Wind Sensors overview

The Instromet replacement wind sensors (anemometers). These are for use with the Atmos, Climatica, Executive as well as MetPlus range of weather stations.

The basic wind sensor is supplied with 25 metres of four core sensor cable. The temperature wind sensor is supplied with 25 metres of six core sensor cable. They both include a mast mounting, 55 mm opening U bolt. Both wind sensors come with a compass for alignment purposes and mounting instructions.

The basic wind sensor incorporates a sintered bronze bearing in the base of the cup assembly. The Pro wind sensor uses a ball bearing.

Wind speed only sensors

The wind speed only sensors are replacements for wind monitors as well as wind switches. These include the R & D Electronic (Instromet) wind monitors, the standalone wind monitor, the 12V wind switch and mains wind speed only switch.

These sensor also include mast mounting, 55 mm opening U bolt. Also supplied with 25 metres of four core sensor cable.

Wind sensor spare parts

We also supply basic cup assemblies to replace worn original bearings and/or broken cups. Part number: 480 1000 103. Please contact us as some of the older sensors may not be compatible.
