Sun sensors overview

The sun duration sensor comes supplied with 25 metres of cable as standard and a mast mounting 55 mm opening U bolt. The glass dome is designed to stay clear.

Sun duration sensor with IR filter

This is also available as a direct replacement of the standard sensor, our Infrared (IR) filtered sun sensors. These Infrared filtered light sensitive diodes accept light to pass within the World Meteorological Organisations guidelines for sun duration measurements. Overall this gives much more accurate reading over the standard sensor.
